Why birth share and population share differ
Birth share selects from annual births; population share selects from the living population. Each mode divides by a different total in the covered game dataset.

Notes and sources
Equal populations can have different annual birth totals. These are inherited game weights with unverified observation years. They are not uniform one-in-172 odds or the probability of your particular existence. PPP is a model purchasing-power input, not a salary or exchange rate.
