Be born
Your birthplace is drawn using cited UN birth shares among 30 featured countries. Your fictional character begins without a predetermined ending.
One life, seven chapters
Choose what matters
Choose a wish. Read the moments between decisions, meet people who remember your actions, and discover how an earlier choice can return.
Carry something forward
Finish a life to collect its ending and a thread of memory. Your passport keeps the lives you have completed, ready to export to another browser.
Read at your own pace
You can stop after a card or chapter. Progress saves to this browser after every decision, provided device storage is available. The Full route offers chapter breaks; Quick runs through seven central moments. Returning to this page offers the current saved life. Keeping a separate passport export protects your progress when changing devices.
Share the starting point
A challenge link includes a short seed. The same valid seed starts the same fictional life; the same choices reproduce its path. Different decisions can produce different endings. The link does not include your personal notes, your passport or your browser history. A share poster is a locally generated image of the completed story.
Sources and method
Birth shares count babies born in a year. Population shares count people alive at a point in time. They answer different questions, and this game uses birth counts rather than population counts.
